In the Easter Holidays I am running 1 to 1 online and face to face science lessons on tricky GCSE topics for combined sciences and the trilogy sciences. These are all topics that in my experience and from published reports are either technically difficult to understand or just pointless and are often in students’ lists of “worst topics I need help with” as exams approach.

These topics are relevant or included for all exam boards.

I know I have written this before but I am going to write it again.      
My lesson aim is always for students to be able to describe the topic in a way they understand using their notes and / or pictures they can use for revision; have necessary reference materials and questions to help their revsion.

Suggested Topics I am running so far Include

For Biology

  • Genetics, Inheritance, and Genetic Engineering

  • Hormones and Homeostasis.

For Chemistry

  • Electrolysis

  • Moles & Quantitative Equation Calculations

For Physics

  • Resultant Forces, Work Done, and Calculating Forces

  • Current, Voltage, Resistance and Circuits

Each topic typically lasts 2 lessons. Each lesson is 60 minutes (main lesson) plus a 20 minute online homework and understanding check.

Cost for each topic is £66.00. This includes 80 minutes coaching time, required reference materials, and parent / carer progress and feedback reports.
