My Background

Teaching and Tutoring

• Over 10 years’ experience helping students succeed in science.

• Former secondary school teacher of all sciences up to A-Level (2015–2020).

• Ran regular after-school revision clubs and exam practice to boost grades and confidence.

• Tutoring online and in person since 2017, with a maximum of 12 students at a time to ensure each one gets the attention they need.

Scientific Expertise

Before teaching, I spent many years in science research and industry:

• Cancer research, diabetes research, and laboratory assay development.

• 20+ years working with customers at universities, hospitals, and biotechnology companies providing and developing scientific tools and technologies.

This real-world science experience means I can bring lessons to life with practical examples, showing students how what they learn in class connects to the world around them.
